The 36th edition of the funfair is now taking place in one of the most prestigious Parisian parks, the Bois de Boulogne. This festive event, the autumn fair, is part of a long tradition. Back in 1815, Napoleon issued a decree authorizing an annual festival in Neuilly-sur-Seine, up until 1936. In 1983, the Fête à Neu-Neu resumed and was later renamed the Fête au Bois in 2010.
Now here is a great family outing, especially with all the splendid scenery offered by the park: the lower lake, the Parc de Bagatelle botanical garden, rocks, caves, remarkable trees, small bridges, a 19th century Chinese pagoda, playgrounds, reflecting pools and man-made waterfalls.
Bicycles and boats are available for hire on the lower lake. From our hotel, we suggest taking the Bus de la Petite Ceinture (“PC Bus”) from the Général Koenig – Palais des Congrès stop to Ernest Hébert.
